The Coffee Dream!

A Strong Cuppa Coffee! Nothing like one to give bikers that adrenalin rush! And what better destination to go to than the coffee heaven itself! Chikmagalur!!

Located at the foothills of the Western Ghats, Chikmagalur is a coffee-drinkers’ paradise and a hill station with great roads and surprising vistas.

And so began the ride on some of the best roads, through thick forests, along the backwaters, taking in some extreme off-roaders and scaling amazing hills & mountains. Amazing Shimoga, great backwaters of the Tunga river, the deep roads of Kudremukh National Park, the top of Kyatanamakki Hills and as a reward for all these captured, generous swigs of filter coffee!! Ahhh! The thrill and the coffee aroma, both linger still!

Taking in the coffee estates around Chikmagalur was an epic experience, especially the Mallandaru Coffee Estates! Just riding through the winding roads and narrow trails gave all a high! The adventure and the high got a boost on the ride through the Bhadra Tiger Reserve on the way back.

Great thrilling ride, close camaraderie, superb food and the all so addictive coffee – all boxes ticked on this wonderful ride! Kudos to road & riding discipline, kudos to Chikmagalur! Coffee dreams done for now!
