Ladakh Unexplored 2021 - 14 days & 14 nights

The thrill of scaling some of the most treacherous mountain passes, of riding through the most scenic valleys & villages, of finding peace at beautiful lake sides and of being one with your machine, was all there! Ladakh Unexplored 2021 was one life-changing experience!

A Thrilling Start to YAT – The ‘Ladakh Unexplored’ Adventour

Pure Adrenaline & Adventure!

YAT started with the idea of “pleased to thrill”! And what better first foray destination for this than the pinnacle of biking expeditions – Ladakh!

While a batch of brave-hearts started their bike ride from Pune, the main ride began from Ambala. Not for the faint-hearted, this adventour demolished roads of about 6000+ kms in 20 days! And what an adventure this was! The routes were deliberately planned to be off-beat and the challenges that these threw up, at times seemingly unsurmountable, tested everyone to the core!

Ladakh sojourns are always epic in their character, be it the landscapes, the remotest of roads, the no-roads geographies, the mountain passes, river crossings, the valleys and more & more of such! But somehow the challenge of riding on & through all of these and encountering fickle & rough weather almost all the time, also defines the character of the travelers! And this is what all riders look for, nay, yearn for!

Travelling through places known and unknown, covering Himachal Pradesh, Narkanda, Kasol, Jispa, Zanskar Valley, Leh, Shinku La, Drang-Drung Glacier and many such milestone points, the adventour was a different life! Zones, phases, realities, surreal feelings and the unison of man & machine were nothing less than poetic.

The tough get going when the going gets tough! Yeah, the tough planned the tough going and created a fantasy adventour on the grounds of India! This will perhaps be repeated every year! Why not!!!!
