A Ginormous statue that humbles all & sundry, some utterly mesmerizing views & small pleasures along the way - the mandatory yet very memorable tour!

Traveling to Gujarat is always looked forward to, especially when it is gonna include a stop-over at the beautiful hill station of Saputara. Beautiful weather and a great sunset view were the highlights of the stay here. Of course, who would miss the awesome sunrise just before advancing towards Rajpipla.

The yearnings of the human hearts, to be in the midst of stark nature, were fulfilled on the ride through Purna Wildlife Sanctuary and the pamperings of the machines happened on “makkhan” roads!

Traveling to and being on the viewing gallery of the Statue of Unity was an out-of-the-world experience and not just the size but the sheer realistic presence of the personality of Shri Vallabhbhai Patel left all humbled and bowing down in respect. Taking in the aromas, the local flavours and the sweet hospitality of Daman, the ride also included some small pleasures & fun sessions at Bordi beach near Dahanu on the return ride.

Yummy Gujarati food, the very atmosphere that made one feel at home and the usual thrills that ended up in great learnings – the must have quotients under the collective belts! Heartfelt salutes to the great freedom fighter and the marvel that his statue is!
